Wanted: Contact with the Hornby Island gent who has a dog (I believe Border Collie crossed with an Australian Shepherd or Australian Cattle dog?). There are probably several of these on your island; they’re probably mostly black and white, medium in size, and gentle in temperament. If the rumour mill is true this dog probably cranks out a litter from time to time and I would love to get one of the pups! I have been seeking such a dog for months and know someone who has one of his dogs and they rave! The dog would have a great rural Merville home with lots of land to run around on and would be well trained and cared for. If you know who this fellow might be, could someone please put us in touch?
